The TX Ultra's record-breaking casting distances are made possible by three unique Shimano technologies: Spiral X Core for torsional rigidity, Hi-Power X to reduce blade twist and a futuristic Carbon Monocoque handle for faster power transfer and improved feel when trolling. These technologies also reduce the overall weight of the rod, making it the lightest carp rod in the TX range. The result is higher top speed when casting and even better contact with the fish – especially in close combat.
